A blessed labor of love
Our Story
We are a small local family farm specializing in unique fragrant heirloom flowers.
I have gardened with my mom since I was a small girl. We’ve always grown vegetables and planted flowers around the houses just for the beauty of it. A few years ago as I was trying to figure out ways to make the vegetable gardens happier, I discovered many people plant flowers in with their vegetables. Not only are they pretty to look at they are very beneficial for insect control and attracting pollinators. Little did I know, I would fall in love with having flowers in and around the vegetable gardens. They seemed to make tasks in the gardens that much more enjoyable. After a couple of years of growing them for the vegetables, I ran across a book about flower farming and decided to give it a try. I am a computer “geek” by trade, but love my summers pulling double duty as a flower farmer/florist. I get to spend extra time with those I love, enjoying nature and leaning into God’s blessings. I’m continually amazed by how much joy the flowers bring to me and those around me.
Faith
God is always at the center of what we do. Our flower
farm is no different. We rely on His blessings to make all of this possible.
The Vine and the Branches
John 15: 1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Numbers 6: 24 '"The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you; 26 the LORD lift up his face upon you and give you peace."
Family
This venture is truly a labor of love and family. I’ve always gardened with my mom and continue to to this day. It is a tradition that has spanned many generations. Now that I have kiddos of my own, I want to spend as much time with them as possible teaching them the joys of nature, hard work and God’s blessings. Now we get to spend time together planting, weeding, harvesting, and arranging flowers for all to enjoy.
Flowers
We grow unique, heirloom, fragrant local flowers, foliage and fillers using sustainable growing practices. We work to bring you the longest lasting blooms and bouquets around.
